We’re excited to announce that Datz has been selected to join the first cohort of Ryerson DMZ’s PropTech Incubator!

Ryerson DMZ, based at Toronto Metropolitan University, is ranked the #1 university-based tech incubator in the world. Since 2010, it has supported over 700 startups, helping them raise $1.8B in funding, and spurring the creation of 5,000 jobs.

The PropTech Incubator, launched in partnership with GroundBreak Ventures, is DMZ’s newest program, and aims to nurture Canadian innovation that is changing the landscape of the world’s largest asset class – real estate. Companies that operate at the intersection of real estate and technology are solving some of the world’s biggest challenges: restoring housing affordability, creating healthier homes and buildings, and solving sustainability goals.

The Datz team is proud to join the program, and looking forward to scaling-up our pioneering Real Estate Management System that provides an unprecedented level of connectivity across the ecosystem of housing transactions.

Over the next 18 months, we will receive customized growth support from DMZ and GroundBreak Ventures. We will work with leading technology investors, entrepreneurs, and Experts-in-Residence to grow and scale Datz – all with the goal of increasing our impact across Canada’s proptech sector, and helping our customers and partners grow their own businesses.

We’ve already received a warm welcome from the DMZ team and our fellow founders.
